Hi m8s (I know this text is long like king Kong but please help a of m8)

  • i bought through amazon a barracuda Seagate DM100010 a couple of weeks, package arrived and i went to buy a sata cable. I originally had a Hitachi HDD but I wanted to changed it by a new one by cloning the old one to the new seagate because old HDD was making a lot of noise.

But when I connected both of them to the mobo gigabyte 78lmts2pt I started then the PC and started the bios but there was no disk on the bios list (only the Hitachi one). I then tried and tried whit different energy HDD cables and changing sata cables. The only thing that maked something appear was changing 0-3 data ports on bios to AHCI instead of Ide Data default. It didn't even appeared on bios but the new disk was recognized on windows disk admin wtf! But it was in vain though cus it gave me an error by initializing the disk from manager disk and from other partitions programs XD

So I reinstalled all BIOS and amd sata drivers from original page and nothing. I want to punch my pc because I can't continue changing cables and restarting and turning off and entering BIOS like a zombie all weekend I'm sick of being trying methods from internet pages that doesn't work. I just want someone to give me an explanation of what is happening here.

~ I'm desperate really and frustrated of this situation cus :pt1cable: this disk is like freaking sterile or some kind of medical frogged up condition XD but seriously I tried everything. Can someone help me?
[Sorry for my English btw is not my first language and I'm typing from my cellphone] :pt1cable:
