Gigabyte 1150 Mobo to Asus 1150 mobo

So the other day my Gigabyte mobo dieded so I bought a Asus mb with compatible CPU socket (1150) and everything​ I had with the old one.

Will I have to reset everything or just connect everything and I'll be set?

While you can connect everything and pray, you should probably connect one thing at time to make sure it isn't dead too. As for your operating system, you would need reinstall it.
