I need a replacement for my asus p8z77-i deluxe. Preferbly something that lets me keep my other parts. Motherboard died. Currently have i5 processor.
Motherboard recommendation needed.

Not sure what you are saying. I know they dont make them anymore. I'm asking for a suggestion that I can replace it with. A used one costs more than a newer model would. So I might as well upgrade, unless that causes me to have to get more parts.

Ok I understand. So back to my original question, Can you recommend one? I know they are not making new ones in the catagory, but the ones I am able to find run around 200 or so. The exact replacement would run around 300. Is it worth upgrading the CPU and motherboard or are those motherboards on the higher end even compared to new ones. Not a computer building expert.
