I'm building a super budget build around an i3-6100 that I bought for basically nothing ($13.46 ebay). I also bought the Asrock z170m pro4s mobo to hopefully over clock this and future 1151 socket processors. I'm looking for suggestions for the PERFECT match gpu from any generation or company. My goal is to be as close to zero bottle-necking between the CPU and GPU as possible and to minimize cost. Also, any suggestions will help as this is my first build: ram size, cases, coolers, upgrade paths, and whatnot.

edit: Build intended for mainly gaming and occasional 3d modeling softwares

From the current generation, I'd suggest looking at the RX 470 or GTX 1050ti. The RX480 / GTX 1060 would probably also be ok but might be held back...

Older cards? Probably GTX 960 / 970, Radeon R9 380X or 390 (note the 390 in particular is a bit power hungry so needs a good psu / cooling).

Edit: This review might help you determine what gpu to look at:

Note that I think in general the Pentium G 4560 tested here is about the same gaming performance as an i3-6100 (both dual core with hyper-threading). Note that the 1050ti doesn't see any bottle-necking really, but the 1060 / 1080 do (although it's worth noting that it's not bad at all on the 1060).
