Hi there again!.
Well, i need help with a gpu that i have.
I installed the last drivers and searched for the power options in control panel and nvidia control panel.
my friend tested it, and he says that he has the same issue.

I tried to use userbenchmark test and it says that the gpu is kinda in the 1%.

Tried to underclock it but i have the same issue.
Then, really i have no idea what to do.

i will try to make a fresh windows install and use an old driver for this gpu. But pretty kinda i feel that it will not work.

This can be caused by a bad driver, but NVidia is pretty good at drivers. I would suspect some sort of hardware issue. The simplest cause of this would be dust. Turn off the computer and clean it. Take it outside and blow out all the dust. Look for obstructions to airflow and try and neaten them up. Remove the video card and re-seat it. Might be a loose/poor connection. Those are the simplest causes and cures.

If you need to control the power settings, that is found here in windows 7:
Control Panel\All Control Panel Items\Power Options
I am not at my Windows 10 PC but it is similar.

However I would not bother with them. They should be fine.

You can also go to the device manager and (my computer, properties, video adapter) and right click and select roll back driver (if you are convinced it is the driver (I am not convinced of this)).

i changed the driver to an older driver, the error is more often but the black screen recovers faster.

Tried looking for any damage, but i do not see anytihng bad... really i have no idea what could happended here

Not all damage is obvious. For example, just handling a card improperly can cause static electricity to damage it. Many newer cards seem to have some sort of protection these days, but they are not immune.

Your friend who tested something, what did he test? Did he test your card and find that it was very slow? Or does he have a similar card with similar performance issues?
