How do i get my files/folders back to default

I dont think i accidentally deleted my user account on win 7 what i did was create a new one while the original was still there.I shut down my pc then power it on and then i clicked my original account to find some files and folders gone on my desktop.Then i went to my hard drive clicked on the users folder and everything are there.So how do i get everything back to the desktop

And there are saved games files are gone in libraries document but have found them in the users folder in my documents folder.Should i just copy and paste
