File transfer problem.

So my sister gave me her old Sony Xperia (unsure of model) and I decided I wanted to move some items to the phone, I did get a message pop up on the phone saying about installing something for laptops / computers but it disappeared.

I've gone through a few things, debugging, etc, it shows up on the phone whether I want to charge / transfer files / Midi, but upon selecting transfer files, I get that awful "something has been disconnected" sound from Windows.

Any help would be wonderful.
Thanks.
Aaron

If you failed to connect to computer, maybe USB Model is not enabled in the device or the usb cable is disabled, so you can't transfer file. You can try change another USB cable or USB port.
To enable USB Mode, it is depends on your Android OS.
