I have 32gb of ram memory about to build my first pc, but I have 2 packages of 2×8, I've heard of ram having to be compatible, will this work for me?

Solution

For the best chance of success, you should buy a 4x8 GB matched kit of ram. Getting two 2x8 gb kits to work together, even the same make, model, and speed is problematical at best, impossible at worst, especially if there is ANY gap in time from buying the first kit and buying the second.
Since you have already bought the ram, I suggest that you make sure that you keep the two kits matched, Consult ypur motherboard manual to make sure that you put 1 matched kit in channel a and the other in channel b.

What are they? Brand, speed, etc...? All RAM modules have to have the same specs for them to function together in tandem. If they are the same, then they will work, if not, then you will have problems.

Since they are all the same, they should work. Assuming your motherboard supports them as well.

Edit: other responses very valid as well.
