Using a HDMI to VGA Converter

So, Im thinking of buying a PowerColor RX 460 2GB. But then I see it doesn't have VGA connection. My monitor only has VGA connection (BenQ GL930). So I thought of buying a HDMI TO VGA Converter? will that work?

Wrong way around, you need an adapter from HDMI (input) to VGA (output). something like this: https://www.amazon.com/Rankie-Gold-Plated-Active-Adapter-Converter/dp/B00ZMV7RL2
Card has also DVI connector and could use DVI-D to VGA adapter https://www.amazon.com/Male-DVI-D-Female-VGA-Adapter/dp/B007EA48MA which is not an active adapter but does same job and should be much cheaper. One may come in the package with the card.
