Will my EVGA 500W run a GTX 760 and an FX 8350

Just as the title says; I'm buying a new processor this weekend, and I want to make sure my PSU can handle it and the graphics card. I already own the GPU, so if the PSU won't run this processor I will buy something a little less extra.

Thanks a lot for any answers you have.

  1. The GTX760 has a system requirement of a 500 Watt power supply. So you should be fine. The processor will not be an issue for the power supply either.
  2. You need a supply rated at least 35A (420W) on the +12V rails, preferably 38A (456W).
A good quality 500W supply should be ok.
What is the model of the power supply?

This is the power supply I have

40A rating on the +12V rail is good.
Review of this supply isn't bad:

I would say you will be fine with this supply.
