Hello, i just ordered a new HDD and i want this one to replace the old HDD as the default one, but i dont really know how to do that, do i have to boot from my old HDD and then install windows on it? i have no idea.

Also, i would like to erase the OS from the old HDD (to make room)

Thanks in advance, any help would be appreciated.

You should unplug other hdds if you install on another one. Otherwise the bootloader can get installed to it during the windows install

And if you remove it after, your system may not boot. Thats why you should unplug extra hdds before you install on another hdd
