I7 7700 temps

I just bough a MSI 63vr gaming laptop with an i7 7700 7th gen CPU. I feel like the temps it is hitting while doing moderate work is a little high. I'm not real informed on this though and found out about undrrvolting. Can anyone help me?

Do not mess with your laptop at all, especially if you aren't experienced with computers. If the temps are unreasonably high (like 85C++ under load) then return it and buy something else.

I will post screenshots when I get off work. If I'm hitting 85+ degrees should I be worried? I feel like I'm not even pushing it that hard. Should I maybe get a cooler pad? Or maybe its the way I have it in the desk there's not enough ventilation?

IDK dude, I can't see your desk I'm not telepathic. If you're using it on a hard surface it should be fine. Laptops are just hot, that's what happens when you crap a whole computer into a tiny box
