This is the build I did a month ago Febuary and wondering if I would need an upgrade down the road, In 2019 when I get out of University and have my own job and income I will definitely upgrade and thinking of setting a budget of $3000 for a workstation/gaming build, but until then I have this little guy.

The PSU is a $34 Solid Gear Neutron 550E, so I might need to upgrade this.

But I am currently playing Witcher 3 and Dark Souls 3 on ultra/High settings with above 30fps( No hairworks on witcher). I play on my AOC 1080p LED Monitor which I got for $69 on microcenter.

I was just needing some extra advice as Im the only one in my friends who game on PC, everyone of my friends game on PS4/XboxOne.

Should be fine on lower settings on some triple A games or CPU heavy games, I'd save up for a i5 6400 or an i7 6700 non K and it will last ya quite a while with a RAM upgrade later.

Any quad Ivy Bridge (or i3+HT) is good for the next 2 years at least. Intel and the associated tech just hasn't made any huge advances, just a bunch of little tweaks. Could probably equate my i7-3770K to a i7-7500k if there was such a cpu. In some areas, your i3 probably performs a little better, stronger IPC, but in full quad apps, I'll still beat ya.

So yeah, you are good for now.
