Cheapest_CPU For 1070 [ No bottleneck ]

Hey ! Can anyone please tell me the Cheapest CPU for a GTX 1070 ? Cause I'm runniung really really low on Budget. Intel would be preferred. Thank You !

depends on games, if you want starcraft 2 then you need a very powerfull cpu adn a gtx 1050 ti to run it properly without bottleneck, if you want battlefield 1 you need cpu and gpu, if you want call of duty then an i5 will suffice. It depends on what you play.

the only REAL bottleneck in computers is the component located on the chair between computer input and output.

To answer the question (that you asking without even understanding) more info is required.
like games you want to play, target resolution and refresh rate of the monitor.

The right question would be something like "what CPU will be a good match to GTX 1070 for gaming on <monitor details>" optionally with your favorite games.

It really depends on your budget.

You can run any game properly even with an i3 7100, but if you can afford an i5 7500 go for it.

I basically wanna play the high end games like Watch Dogs 2 and Witcher 3 and stuff like that and I want 60 FPS even if i have to lower my Res to 768p it'll be fine but 60FPS + Is what i seek for heavy games like these..
Will an 15 6500 do the job ? Saying that i play the games on 768p

Very very easily. Much more than 60 fps. However a gtx1070 is overkill for 768p. If you havent bought the card, go for a 1060 or an rx480. Even those will be overkill for that resolution

I could go for a 1060 , but i guess this will be my last upgrade and I want my PC to be future proof.. so , Though i havent bout the 1070 yet.

Then go for a gtx 1060 6gb or an rx480 for sure. They can max out any modern game @1080p. They can even handle any game @1440p. You wont have any problem with future games. For your resolution a 1070 is way way too much.

I'd say that for 60FPS you are going to be fine with i5 3.5Ghz or more.
BUT, for the 768p, you really don't need GTX 1070. this card come handy for 1080p@144Hz or 1440p@60Hz monitors.
For 144Hz though, you'd be better with i7 4GHz or more.
