2 drives 1 with 46 gb space and the other with nearly 1,7 TB

So far when I tryed to start the pc with it inside and connected it just launched the BIOS and repeated the boot up beep every 10 or 20 seconds.

Solution
Its very easy to update the bios. Gigabyte have a utility you can download from their website, called @bios. It does it all for you, its as simple as clicking next a few times.
4 Simple GPU troubleshooting steps...
1. Try to install it on another slot.
2. Update the BIOS or disable CSM mode and let it boot on UEFI mode.
3. Reset CMOS by pulling the small battery out, wait 5 seconds then replace it again.
4. Use your Intel graphics (boot without your dedicated GPU) and see if it still beeping, also check and reseat the RAM.

Your system is 6 years old which isn't very power efficient when compared to todays standards. Though your gtx 1060 is power efficnent, with a tdp of only 120w i'd be inclined to try a 500w power supply to see if that resolves your issue.

That 400w psu looks scetchy but here's something you can try:
You have two drives, so if you unplug the sata and power from the drive that doesn't house your os, does your system boot with the gtx 1060 installed? If so you need more power.

I have a NVidia gtx 1070 paired with a 2500k (P8z77-v). Though i'm running on the latest bios, I haven't had any issues using a 10 series gpu with my 6 year old setup.

Tried it only with the sata connected to the drive which hosts the OS and the problem still exists. I feared that I might lack the power to have the system operational. Guess Ill try entering the old card I had and updating bios as someone above suggested.

^^^ this.

Your PSU might losing it's power. I'm surprised that your PSU is still functional until now, 6 years!

I also use modern card with old hardware too btw...
GTX960 paired with q9400 on ASUS p5q pro turbo MB.
But, now, I think the motherboard died after 9 years of loyal service. I replaced the PSU twice every 3 years.

Read a bit up on updating bios and seems like a job too difficult for me to handle so once I save up some cash for a better PSU we will see. Also going to have graduation exams and only want to assemble the pc back together so I dont get too distracted with games and such. Until then salut and thanks to you all.
