As of now, this is my build:
i5 6400 cpu
Hyper 212 EVO (cpu cooler)
Msi b150 motherboard lga1151 gaming
G-skill ripjaws V 16gb ddr4 ram
Sandisk 120gb ssd
Seagate 1tb hdd
Powercolor Radeon rx480 8gb red devil Gddr5
NZXT S340 mid tower atx
Corsair Cxm 550W

So as this is my first build, I want to make sure that all the parts are compatible and combo well

Not really much point in parting it out now. By June AMD's Ryzen 5 (and possibly Ryzen 3) CPUs will be out, and I think RX 500/Vega GPUs as well. Even if you don't get any of those, they could have impacts on competing Nvidia/Intel products, and AMD's existing GPUs. So in all likelihood any recommendations made now will be outdated by the time you build.

Just a quick update, I switched the GPU out with a msi GeForce gtx 1060 3gb cause I realised the GPU was on promo and the price would drastically increase by that date. I also removed the Sandisk ssd as I have seen that it is a sorry excuse for an ssd.
