Open the case, ground yourself by touching an unpainted metal surface and touch your heatsink, if it is really over 100C you will not be able to touch it as it will be too hot. Also at that high of a temp your pc would likely be seriously throttling or powering off due to overheating.

I've noticed that CAM only works well with NZXT gear. Everyone I know that doesn't have a NZXT cooler gets incorrect readings too. I have a NZXT Kraken X61 and it gives me proper temperatures. My motherboard also has a little LED portion on the bottom that says my CPU temp, so I know it is correct.
