Hi, I have a gigabyte h110m-s2h motherboard, and a gtx 770. I don't know if my motherboard is compatible with sli, but I have a feeling it isn't. I recently picked up another 770, and was wondering if I could make sli work if i bought a PCIE x1 to x16 adaptor. All I want is 1080p performance at around 74fps in games like BF1, BF4 at max settings. If this wouldn't work, is there any other way I could make it work? I may not have the same performance as I would if i just bought a z170, but i would have to remove the cpu, buy thermal paste and put it on. I am reluctant to do this as I literally just built my PC, and am not too confident. Besides, I only need 1080p70, I get 45 anyway with overclocking, so just want that extra 30. I don't want to buy a new card. If there is no way to make this work, if I wanted BF1 to run at about 74fps at 1080p, what graphical settings would I be playing at, with one card? And would I be able to play at ultra at 60fps with one card? I have an i3-6100. Many Thanks

Even if this is a possible, you would gain almost NOTHING from trying to SLI a card in an x1 slot.

You can replace your motherboard with a z170 board that supports SLI (and have to reinstall windows) but the much much better option is to sell both 770 cards and buy a 1070.
