can intel core 2 power supply support intel core i processors system ?

hello everyone
i am planning to get an intel core i5 6400 processor and a 350 watt power supply ,
but i noticed a sentence on the power supply box which says : ( support intel core 2 and amd athlon processors ).
will be there any problems or risks if i use this power supply for my system ?
i will install also a gtx 1050 ti graphics card which need 6 pin power connector .
thanks very much for helping .

  1. A 350W PSU is pretty weak, better to go with a high quality PSU in the 450W range for an i5 and single graphic card.

I assume no overclocking due to that CPU choice. Any other power hungry components planned?

and i am sorry for the mistakes which i am doing in the replying for your answer ,this is the first time to me to post here .
i have read the specification of the graphics card which recommend a minimum of 300 watt psu based on system which use intel core i5 6500 ,
so i think a 350 watt psu is enough , isnt it ?

Perhaps if it is a very high quality PSU. Seasonic or Superflower for example, although I would opt for a few more watts for the future.
