Hello

I currently want to upgrade my old PC. It is running a Pentium G620 which is a way too old processor and running 4GB DDR3 ram.It has no GPU currently. And I Want to upgrade it for gaming and casual purposes.

I am in a extreme budget build around 12k-15k INR ( around 200USD)...I know that really is a low budget but since i have a old PC running, i wont invest in buying hard disk, power supply, cabinet etc...So i think i would be saving some bucks...I just need a Good processor,Motherboard for it and a DDR4 Stick if i needed or else if i can go with the DDR3 ram which i am having currently that also is good to go...I think i wont be able to get a GPU under this budget...

But please suggest me a processor (Intel) that has a good integrated graphics and good performance for casual use also..I really stand against AMD processors because i live here in India and here AMD processors are not popular , so if i get any problem i wont be able to get it serviced..So no AMDs..

For the mobo, I have some specs which are the only ports i will be needing so plzz suggest the cheapest mobo with the following ports:

1. 2 USB 2.0 connectors for mouse and keyboard..I really don't want the PS/2 ports..
2. 1 VGA port for my single monitor..
3. At least 4 more USB ports at the back panel especially some with USB 3.0(necessary).
4. Ethernet Port
5. A normal 3 audio ports would suffice..
6. HDMI ( if possible)...

Thats it..Plz suggest me the cheapest mobo that has the above configurations...And I want USB 3.0 because i am having a USB 3.0 external HDD, so more transfer rates..

Cheapest DDR4 ram 2x4gb ???

Till where i researched, I found the G4560 the best one for my budget but i am thinking of i3 6100 also...what are your views???..Any suggestions or shall i wait for some time..are there any newprocessors that will be coming out in future and will serve my purpose???

-There are no good integrated graphics in existence that will play the hardest to play games like Battlefield1.

They will however play all of the older classics really well. Games like Dirt2, Prostreet, Call of duty 1, 2, 3. All games based on Half life2. All games and including Unreal1,2 and 3. Classics like Serious Sam2, GTA vice city. Max Payne, F.E.A.R. Left4dead2.

-The i3-6100 has intel 530 graphics. (It's still slow but much faster than Sandybridge's IGP)

dude, thats really rough. You might want to save up a little more to help out your budget.
check out the MSI z270 pc mate for a mobo

here is my build https://pcpartpicker.com/list/

if you could get a i3 or i5 processor instead that would work well.

my 16 gb of ddr4 @3200mHz was only ~100 usd

you could try selling your current components to help up your budget....

hope that helps

good luck

CPU: Intel Pentium G4560 3.5GHz Dual-Core Processor (₹5450.00 @ Amazon India)
Motherboard: Gigabyte GA-B250M-DS3H Micro ATX LGA1151 Motherboard (₹7950.00 @ Amazon India)
Memory: Corsair Vengeance LPX 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR4-2400 Memory (₹4715.84 @ Amazon India)
Total: ₹18115.84

Unfortunate that the markup is kinda high and pushes your budget. You can ease things a bit by selling your current CPU/MB/Ram combo. I know the demand is pretty high for decent components where you are at so that shouldn't be a problem.

The G620 is a sandybridge cpu.
http://ark.intel.com/products/53480/Intel-Pentium-Processor-G620-3M-Cache-2_60-GHz

As is it's not too bad, it's a dual core pentium. You can also buy a used sandybridge i5 like a i5-2400.
-With a bios update there is a good chance that your board works with ivybridge cpus too. (You will have to check the cpu support list for your board)

$200 would buy you a GTX1050ti or RX470, even with the G620 that would do ok in most games.

-If you have a SFF case, there are half height GTX1050's and 1050ti's and even faster ones like a GTX1060.

You might need a better cpu cooler with a i5, the small cooler for your G620 wont be enough for a i5 unless you get the lower wattage i5's like the i5-2400S.

Look for a i5-2400S or i5-2500s. They are usually a bit cheaper than the slightly faster i5-2400, 2500 and also use less watts so you can resuse your cpu cooler. Most of the 2.5ghz-2.7GHZ i5's like the i5-2300 will also work. The fastest clocked ones like the i5-2500 will need a better cpu cooler as they run hotter and use more power.

A i5-2500S+GTX1050 would be a decent upgrade.

The i3-2120 and G4560 both are dual cores with HT and are very close in speed.

-Still if you can go with a faster i5, that is still better than the i3 (or G4560) option.

http://www.ebay.in/sch/i.html?_odkw=1155+i5&_sop=15&LH_BIN=1&_osacat=3671&_from=R40&_trksid=p2045573.m570.l1313.TR11.TRC1.A0.H0.X1155.TRS0&_nkw=1155&_sacat=3671

A i5-2500 is Rs. 6,500.00

It looks like all of the sandybridge cpus shipped with the same cpu cooler with only the more expensive i5-2500K and i7's shipping with a larger cooler. So this one works up to the i5-2500.
http://www.ebay.in/itm/Intel-Original-Socket-LGA1155-i3-i5-i7-4Pin-CPU-Fan-with-Heatsink-/400872073887?hash=item5d55d66a9f:g:8l0AAOSwZjJU7qog

it's likely this is the same cooler you have now so you can just reuse your cooler.

-Without changing the cpu at all, the G620+GTX1050ti combo will do very well in most games. There are only a select few games that need more cpu power.

Hi need4speeds,

i am not happy with my cpu g620..i have been using it for 6 years and it has become quite old..i really must change my cpu...so i wont be getting a gpu for now..i'll get it later when i'll sell my current pc parts....But for now i just want a good cpu with Integrated graphics...For the i5 processors you are recommending..aren't these too old???...i think they are 2nd generation processors....The intel g4560 Pentium will out way the i5 2500????..because intel penitum g4560 is the latest Kaby Lake processor right???..What are your views about it???....

And also if it is too hard to get a good intel processor in my budget i'll go with AMD...however i am really a fan of intel...Sorry but i told in my previous post that i am against of AMD processors but i have no other options left with me..thats what i can get to hit the maximum price performance ratio as AMD processors are really cheap and have a pretty good Integrated graphics in them, then it wouldn't be necessary for me to invest more and get a gpu....(already specified i'm not a serious gamer,it would be OK if i get just playable frame rates for games like GTA V or NFS Rivals(My favourite)..I dont want to hit high FPS rates..I would try to avoid GPU..

So finally if i get something,i want to see the difference..i dont want to pay and regret...so please suggest me an AMD if it's the only option left.....:-\....Or tell me what to do...

Thanks in Advance..Cheers....

No integrated graphics will play GTAV or NFS rivals at decent graphics settings with good framerates.

Thank you very much need4speeds...i think the i5 2500 would be a better option....but i got disappointed, because you said after upgrading this much also i cant play these games at playable frame rates...i see no point in upgrading my cpu then..If i Must get a Graphics card then its out of my budget, i cant afford for it...I think gaming is not for guys like me...:(:(:??:
