Need guidance for buying new CPU

Hello, I was checking some options and came across a few CPUs but couldn't stick my mind as of which one to buy among them. Finally settled my mind between AMD Ryzen 1700 and an Intel 7700. I want to buy a non k edition as i wont be overclocking. I am a content creator and have a youtube channel. I edit videos quite regularly and i also am a gamer. Which CPU will be suitable for me?

If you are going to do video work than the extra cores on the 1700 will be hugely beneficial for render times.

Check your software hardware recommendations. The more threads the software can utilize, the more the Ryzen is for you. If you're using some basic dual core friendly video editing software, then the Ryzen isn't such a good choice. Same with games.

I use adobe premiere for editing. How much performance difference will it have in gaming with respect to i7 7700?
