Just installed a new 1080ti and set up the drivers, I go into my monitor setting and it wont let me go up past 60hz on my 144hz monitor now.

Any ideas?

The card came with a displayport to DVI-D connector cable I'm using that, it connects from the card into a DVI cable which then connects into the DVI slot on my monitor.

Are you sure thats right i was using a DVI cable with my 980ti a couple hours ago with my monitor at 144hz

**Edit i also tried using a spare HDMI cable from the card to monitor that wouldn't let me go past 60hz either.

DVI-D supports 144 Hz, HDMi 2.0 supports it too, so does Displayport. I would guess you're using a normal DVi cable. But then, if it ran at 144 Hz before then that surely is wrong.

DVi-D cables and Displayport cables are pretty cheap so getting another may be your best bet, should solve the issue as then you will know for sure that all of your hardware supports 144 Hz.

Did you go into Nvidia control panel to change it to 144 Hz?

Yes, you can just get a Displayport cable or DVi-D cable and connect it straight from the GPU to the monitor without the need for the adaptor either. I'm guessing the cable you are using doesn't properly support 144 hz.
