Sorry, I don't know how to import the image but I got the modem from AT&T, and they have since given me a new one that I'm paying for. The modem I am about to use separately for one computers Ethernet is a U-Verse ARRIS NVG589. I want to know if it will be usable for internet at no charge because of the other modem, if I'm already paying for it, and if it will work in general. Thanks for your time guys.

You will, of course, pay a monthly fee for the new device. But if you still have the old modem you may be continue to be billed a monthly fee for that device as well.

Normally when your rented ISP device (modem or modem/router) is replaced the ISP takes the original device back.

(And you should get a receipt for it as well.)

As for use on the internet: no, the old modem cannot be used for a "second account" unless you are paying for that internet service beyond just the monthly fee on the U-Verse.

However, if the U-Verse is now truly yours without any monthly fee, you may be able to incorporate the U-Verse into your existing network in some manner. It should still physically work.

The "manner" depends on what range of functions...

The "manner" depends on what range of functions and features the U-Verse model offers and how much configuration can be done therein.

You might be able to flash it with new firmware to use DD-WRT if the U-Verse is so supported.
