My computer has begun to constantly blue screen with seemingly random error codes. It has done this before, but I just did a fresh install and it was fixed for a while and now it is back. Some of the errors are kmode exception not handled, system service exception, etc. Many things pointed to drivers or RAM so I took some good RAM and tested multiple slots and sticks and tested my original RAM with memtest coming back with 3 errors in 11 passes. At this point, I can not get past BIOS screen for more than two seconds before blue screening making it impossible to get to any recovery options. It will even blue screen while booting from a usb with installation media on it. My specs are: i5- 6600k, 16gb 3000mhz GSkill Trident Z, Gigabyte 970 G1 Gaming, Gigabyte z170 Gaming 6. Thank you all for the help.

If you get any errors in memtest it means ram needs to be replaced. The only score you want is 0 errors. That right there will stop installs

replace ram before trying to reinstall or fix win 8

once you have, and if win 8 still plays up, try making this on another PC: http://www.howtogeek.com/howto/windows-vista/use-ubuntu-live-cd-to-backup-files-from-your-dead-windows-computer/ as it will tell you if hardware is still working

Thank you very much for the help, but I ended up figuring it out. For some reason, all I had to do was up the volts to my cpu to around 1.25 and it began to work again. I don't know why I would have to do that but it works now so no arguments from me. I will look into replacing my ram very soon though so thank you.
