Windows 7 Pro shuts down randomly after switching to SSD

I've been using this ASUS Republic of Gamers G55VW for almost two years without a problem whatsoever, last week I bought a 1Tb Samsung SSD 850 PRO and while finishing transferring my personal files from a external HD and installing the drivers and basic softwares, the screen just went black and the computer start it to reboot, it was all pretty fast because of the SSD but pretty weird because there was no BSOD nor log on reboot, and this has happened now at least a dozen times without without me even playing games or using any heavy software.

I've read a few thread about this happening and weirdly enough, only on Windows 7, but most of the solutions where Windows update related. I can't seem to get it to stop, I ran Windows Update and a WUinstall again and again, and everything it's up to date, the drivers as well.

I've been monitoring the temperature and it never goes higher the 70°C, and it's also pretty random when it shuts down, regarding to the tasks, as well as the frequency. I've got four in an hour once, and then went for over 36 with none.

I wonder if my unit is defective, or if it something with Windows 7, I considered upgrading to 10 but i hate it and there's not even a guarantee that it will work.

I read something about the power/battery aspects but I really can't imagine that being the case considering it never happened while on the HDD.

Also ran all sorts of RAM tests and no problem was found.

Any input will be so much appreciated!

No, I didn't copy programs or anything like that precisely not to mess with the resgistry, I reinstalled all the softwares again, as well as the drivers.

I only copied from the external HD I mentioned my personal files.
