Hello,
I have a Dell XPS 15 9550 and I'm experiencing BSOD issues due to some hard drive problems I think.
At least one month ago it started randomly freezing during simple work and then giving me BSOD with various stopcode errors, like UNEXPECTED_STORE_EXCEPTION, APPCRASH and something about KERNEL.
The key thing is that after all these BSOD my Dell pc always fails to reboot again, ending on a SupportAssist page (BIOS, I think) which tells me "Hard Drive Not Installed".
After the SupportAssist message it usually reboots fine (I say "usually" because sometimes it takes many attempts to get Windows up and running).
After a while it even started to go BSOD every time I was waking it up after stand-by mode.
No diagnostics (SupportAssist and Bios) could find anything wrong in my system and Dell Onlne Support is only been capable to suggest to upgrade my BIOS firmware, even if my firmware is already up to date.
I tried a fresh Windows 10 install to solve the problem and now I'm getting 4-5 BSOD a day, which is less than before, and I'm not experiencing the standby-BSOD anymore.
I looked everywhere on the internet but I couldn't find anyone with my same problem.
All I did up to now on the BIOS setting is this: I disabled Secure Boot and I changed from RAID to AHCI mode. I left my boot setting in UEFI because I didn't wanna touch that.
I will leave you some System Information if you need some:
Intel Core i7-6700HQ not overclocked
PCIe SSD-0 240GB
nVidia 960M
8 gb ram ddr4 2133mhz
Thank you in advance for any response.
