Hi guys,

So, im buying a new system and would appreciate if you can recommend some power supplies that can run the following specs without problems:

ASROCK Fatal1ty Z270 Gaming K6
INTEL Intel Core i5-7600K 3.80GHz 1151 BOX
Seagate SSHD 2TB 7200rpm 64MB SATA3
Samsung 250GB 960 EVO M.2 PCIe 2280
CORSAIR 16GB Vengeance LED DDR4 3000MHz
Gigabyte GTX 1070 G1 Gaming
COOLER MASTER Hyper 212 EVO

I was thinking about
CORSAIR RMx Series 750W
But dunno if it has enough power.

Thanks in advance guys :)

Solution
The RM750x has more than enough power (actually an overkill) to run your system specs. Just to give you an idea, that PSU can run 2x GTX 1070 or even 2x GTX 1080 in SLI.

If you like RMx series (which is good quality and 10-year warranty), you can safely opt for the Corsair RM550x (550W) to save money (and still allows you to upgrade to a single GTX 1080 Ti in the future if you so wish).

Other good-quality PSU alternatives can be the Seasonic G-550 (550W), which is hybrid/semi-modular and 5-year warranty, for a lesser price, and the EVGA SuperNOVA 550 G3 (550W), which is fully modular and 7-year warranty.

RM series (40C rated oper. temp, 5-year warranty) is different from RMx and RMi series (50C rated oper. temp, 10-year warranty). All RM series (except for RM1000) has been discontinued.

That is actually going back a little far. A lot of the complaints were fixed in later revisions. Last posts in there are from 2015, starting in 2013.

I've no idea what the original release price was, and the biggest complaint was that there were cheaper power supplies that had the same or better quality. The market has probably adjusted itself by now.
