So i have 2 gtx 980s, one is msi brand and the other is a nvidia brand. My first card is my main gpu with both my monitors plugged into it, and for some reason my msi card which is my first is running at PCIe x16 3.0 @ x8 3.0 and my nvidia brand card is running at PCIe x16 3.0 @ x 16 1.1. But whenever i switch to my second card it says @ x16 3.0 and switches back to 1.1 very quickly. does this matter in performance for the cards in any way? my motherboard is an i7-5820k @ 3.3ghz and i think there is only 28 express lanes if that means anything.
