When a fan says 15 LED lights what does it mean?

Does it mean they have 15 of the same fan but in different colors or do they mean the fan can change to 15 different lights?

I got 1 of these 15 LEDs fans and there is no software for them to change the colors and my didnt come with screws and i dont know how or if i can change the color the one i got is white but i thought i would be able to change the color to blue using the LED lights the fan i got is molex fan with 3 pins i plugged it in the motherboard CHA_FAN1 it works but i cant figure ouit if i can change the LED

There are 15 LED's on the first fan, but they can only change to 4 different colours.
Second fan has 15 LED's but 7 different colours.

Those are the LED (light emitting diode) that produces the color around the fan (you can count them in the above photo as fifteen).

You cannot change the color of this LEDs if the fan is non-RGB, meaning, it's a single solid color (red, blue, green, white, or others). If the fan is labelled as "RGB", then you can change its colors (usually via software but some via manual fan controller/knobs).

You CANNOT change the color. All those fans are non-RGB. In the webpage, when it says, "5.Four kinds of cool LED colors, optional collocation of your case according to your preferences", it means that the four kinds of LED colors are FOUR DIFFERENT FAN MODELS with 1 color each: White, Red, Green and Blue.

Now i understand what the 15 LED lights mean its a little misleading because it made me get 1 of these fans but what i want to know is can you change the colors?

You're welcome, glad to help out.

Just a tip on your next purchase: When you want changing colors on a fan, look for the words "RGB LED". If the LED fan says "White" or "Blue" or "Red", etc., it is just that color.
