I have this exact same motherboard and cpu. I found it easy to overclock it to 2.7 GHz.

To overclock this motherboard, you need to adjust the FSB clock. Don't bother with the multiplier, because it doesn't work, and if you do benchmarks after adjusting the multiplier it will still be the same speed. Only adjusting the FSB clock changes the speed.

To start, you can try increasing the FSB clock by 1 or 2, IE from 100 to 102. You will notice a slight increase in the CPU frequency on CPU-Z.

To achieve 2.7 GHz, I would suggest lowering the RAM frequency first.

I was able to get mine to a max of 3.0 GHz, but to do it, I had to lower the RAM frequency, and manually adjust my RAM timings. I wouldn't recommend trying this though unless you're really desperate for extra performance, and plan on upgrading soon anyway. Additionally, even though it was stable at 3.0 GHz, it had odd behaviors, like failing to post, taking several tries to get it to boot up. But once it booted up, it was perfectly stable.

Even at 3.0 GHz, the performance boost is very small. That said, I didn't need to change the heatsink at all, I just used the stock one. This is a very low powered CPU, and I'm not certain that the same warnings that apply to other CPUs apply to this one.

I'm using a new motherboard and cpu now, and I'm glad to be away from the slowness of the A4-3300. :)
