In disk 0 I want to add the unallocated 10.59GB to the HDD(E) partition but the extend partition option is grayed out. I tried deleting the HDD(E) but when it becomes unallocated space, it does not combine with the other 10.59GB. I tried using diskpart method in this post but it i get a "virtual disk service error: The size of the extent is less than the minimum": https://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/2670-partition-volume-extend.html?ltr=P

I know the partitions are a mess but I really need help getting that unallocated space to be usable. I will have to do the same thing in disk 1 for the 17.25GB unallocated space

I know I need contiguous blocks to extend but idk how to get around that. Any recommendations for 3rd party software that can help?

Solution
You need to move the F: partition so it sits to the right of the unallocated space. Then you can extend the E: partition into the empty space.

Most partition managers should be able to do it. If Easus can't, try Minitools Partition Wizard. Just be aware that moving (or shrinking) a partition is a much riskier operation than extending it. Make sure you've backed up the data first.

Well there's one thing we all can agree upon. Your drives' partitions configuration IS a “mess”, as you correctly call it. So just for a few moments forget about “extending” a partition and let's see if we can first get your drives' partitions setup correctly configured, OK?

AT THIS POINT I WOULD NOT, REPEAT NOT, USE ANY THIRD-PARTY PARTITION MANAGEMENT PROGRAM TO CARRY OUT ANY CONFIGURATION CHANGES IN YOUR PRESENT DRIVES/PARTITIONS CONFIGURATIONS.

The key question you have to answer at this point is...

If you disconnect your 1 TB secondary HDD from the system and attempt a boot to the OS (which I assume is Win 7, yes?) with ONLY the SSD (which I assume is your 500 GB boot drive) connected, will the system boot to the OS and function problem-free?

If the answer is "yes", then we can suggest a rather simple modification of your 1 TB secondary HDD's configuration so that you can utilize the full disk-space capacity of that drive. And then take care of your SSD boot drive.

I ended up using minitool partition wizard like Solandri suggested and it was able to move around my partitions with a click of a button so now everything seems to be set up perfectly!
