Compatibility mode can not be used to run 64bit software on a 32bit build of Windows. you will need to either get a 32bit build of the software or reinstall your OS to a 64bit build.
if you have less than 3GB's of RAM, moving from a 32bit OS to 64bit is not advisable due to the memory usage increases.
