Custom PC turns on, fans run, cd drive works, but nothing shows up on monitor

Building a PC for my dad and everything seems to work (fans run, USBs work, CD Drive works) but the monitor doesnt pick up a signal.

I've done all the steps in this thread: http://www.tomshardware.com/forum/261145-31-perform-steps-posting-post-boot-video-problems and nothing fixed the problem. Motherboard makes a long beep followed by 2 short beeps only when there is no ram in, and doesnt beep when there is ram.

Specs:
Intel Pentium G4560 3.5GHz Dual-Core Processor
Asus B150M-C D3 Micro ATX LGA1151 Motherboard
Seagate Barracuda 1TB 3.5" 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive
Crucial 8GB (1 x 8GB) DDR3-1600 Memory
LG GH24NSC0B DVD/CD Writer
SeaSonic 360W 80+ Gold Certified ATX Power Supply
Rosewill FBM-02 MicroATX Mini Tower Case

DDR3 memory will not work with G4560. You would need DDR3L for that. Plus, this motherboard does not have BIOS version that would run with this CPU. You got incompatible components.

well you can return the ram for a refund and then purchase the right kind of ram you need. as for the CPU, you will either need to take it to a local PC shop to get them to perform the update or buy a 6th gen skylake celeron or pentium CPU so you can get it to boot to update the motherboard.

What is the model of the RAM you have, you might only need to get a lower end processor from the 6th generation, otherwise you will need a new motherboard and RAM.

Well at least that is DDR3L Cheapest option for you is to return the G4560 and buy a 6th Generation Pentium or i3 instead.
Otherwise you need to return the motherboard and RAM for a b250 board and DDR4 RAM.

Ah, so you do have DDR3L. That means you need to swap CPU to any SkyLake (G4500 for example) and you're good.

Yes, that's a Skylake CPU. Your board will boot that CPU.
