I'm planning on upgrading my system over time, and i was wondering if there was any advice I could get on some deals.
I'm currently running an Intel Xeon E3-1220 V3 at 3.5 Ghz, with 2x4 Gb sticks of DDR3-1333 and 2x2 Gb Sticks of DDR3-1600 (I know these 2 are running at 1333).
I have a Zotac GTX 1060 6GB mini.
I inherited most of these components from a Dell Precision T1700 pre-built computer that my dad brought home from work one day.
I'm looking at first to upgrade the Case, and then the Motherboard. My price range is max $200 for each component.
I am looking for an ATX motherboard. Currently considering buying a case from craigslist.
All of the ATX LGA 1150 motherboards I've looked at online have either been upwards of 200 dollars, or refurbished/used. Thanks for your help.

For case, I suggest nzxt s340 mid tower case. Looks great, price is attractive

As for the motherboard, if possible change the processor because it is a server CPU and boards supporting it run costly. You are saving $130 from the case budget. A decent i5 processor with supporting motherboard can easily be purchased from the remaining budget you have.

Overall you will be spending around $470 but it will futureproof your system. it will stay relevant for the years come.
