Do I have a chance to disrupt my computer when I plug in an HDD that displays an error message when i tried to boot from it ?

If you're trying to boot from a broken HDD then you will only see the error messages. If you boot from a different HDD with the broken HDD also connected then you shouldn't run into any problems. You may or may not see the HDD recognized by Windows in device manager and if you do then the data may be inaccessible. If your HDD has some sort of short in it that causes abnormal electrical surges then you may see a problem getting your PC power up at all.
