Hi, i recently bought the Intel i7 7700k and bought coolermaster hyper 212 led to go with it. As I had no plans to overclock the CPU, i thought it will be good. Now everything is fine and running well, the processor sits around 32-33C on idle and haven't ever crossed 80C on load. (Not stress testing, in games and photoshop, illustrator which I mainly use) But I didn't like that it is crossing 70C and want to purchase a AIO cooler for it. My questions are

1. Will an AIO cooler able to get the temperature that I want?
2. How is kraken x52? Any user please tell me if it's any good.

Solution
Most AIO's are great. I would suggest using anything that is 240mm or larger. The X52 is a great cooler and will give you the temps you want. I personally use a Corsair H100i V2. I overclocked my i5 6600k to 4.4GHz with low, stable temperatures.

Yeah I was going for a 240mm or 280mm radiator. what about the leakage issue? Is it frequent or a bad luck case scenario?

Sorry if I sounded rude.your temps never hit above 30C even on load? That's quite surprising.

It's a bad luck scenario. If it leaks, it leaks all over your stuff and you force the manufacturer to pay for a new system. Generally, AIO's leaking is a rare instance. Manufacturer's build their units to resist leakage as much as possible as their reputation relies on it. Go with a big name company like NZXT or Corsiar.

No problem. Yes, never above 30C, but I have a pretty big radiator for the CPU in a push/pull config.

FYI, I've been using closed loop water coolers for about 5 years now. Never had a leak, but it is possible.
