Hey, so my computer is getting old now and I'm a bit a noob when it comes to this stuff. I am going to upgrade I just wanna make sure this will work! Here are my specs

AMD Radeon R7 200 Series
AMD A6-6400K APU with Radeon HD Graphics
8 GB RAM

I am pretty sure I need to upgrade my graphics card. I am on a budget so I can only do one right now (teenage kid with part time job) I was looking into it and the GTX 1050 TI has caught my eye. The only thing I am worried about is if I will be able to run with the same CPU? Thanks! All suggestions welcome

An i5 wouldn't work in your board. You also should get a better power supply. That poor quality one that you have is not safe to use. A corsair CX450m would be plenty, for a GTX 1050ti.

As long as you have a decent power supply, and an available graphics card slot, on your motherboard, that card will work, with your system. That A6 is pretty weak though, so you might not be able to use that graphics card to its full potential. What is your budget, and the rest of your system specs, including make/model of the power supply?

You could do a bios update, and upgrade to an Athlon 880k. http://www.gigabyte.com/Motherboard/GA-F2A88X-D3H-rev-30#support-cpu

That would help alleviate bottlenecking of a GTX 1050ti. Need to find out about that power supply though.
