Wiping SSD on computer

Hello, I want to wipe an SSD for my friend on my computer. The question is, will i run into any problems when booting up my computer with the SSD connected. My friends SSD does have Windows 10 installed, will it somehow make a problem with my current computer?

You should really get yaself one of these:

The problem with multiple OS installs is a) making sure you boot to the right one (lowest numbered port usually has priority and b) user error in choosing the wrong one to wipe. The BlacX makes all worries moot.

A USB dock is indispensable.

Geez .. I oft wonder if the reason we agree so much is cause we a pair of old farts ... no sense of adventure ! ... no risk taking ! Why worry about spending an extra 3 hours redoing everything, we'd only spend that spare time here on nerdy forums :0
