Does anyone know if Intel going keep the rising the numbers by thousand?

Like Intel Intel i5 7400 (Kaby Lake) > the next CPU Products would be Cannon Lake would be Intel i5 8400?

Solution
I mean they probably will, but nobody knows and I feel like the names of the processors are secondary to the size of the process, speed, and thread count in terms of what people actually care about. Intel can rename the 7700k into the "Blue Slushee" for all I care as long as it's 6C/12T this time ¯\_ツ_/¯

Nvm, its most likely going be Intel i5 8400 something like that, Easier Name is better.

The Dual Core (Pentium G and Lower) need to go
Intel i3 should be Tri core (3 Core / 6 Threads)
Intel i5 should be 6 Core / 6 Threads
Intel i7 should be 6 Core / 12 Threads

If intel wants to retain a dominating lead over AMD they should match series number to core count.

i3 tricore, i5 pentacore, i7 heptacore.
