Mouse and keyboard don't work after installing new mobo

So I installed my new mobo Asrock z270m-itx/ac and now my mouse and keyboard Dont work. I'm currently running windows 7 and upgraded from the MSI krait gaming 3x mobo and it worked just fine. The keyboard and mouse work in the bios but not the login screen or in safe mode. How can I fix this.

If you can, try the keyboard and mouse in another system and/or a different mouse and keyboard in your system to try and identify whats actually causing the issue.

I didn't reinstall windows, how would I go about doing that?
Would I just need to put my windows 7 disk in again and just go from there? Would I need to try to delete windows 7 from the bios or something first?

The reinstall of windows 7 but the keyboard and mouse didn't work with that. I'm going to rebuild my old PC which is basically just swap the mobo and case and see if the PC works then.

Since I rebuilt my PC with the old mobo it all works now so I am just going to send the mobo back to newegg and get a refund. Thanks to everyone who tried to help thought.
