RAM overclocking on overclockable motherboard

Again it will depend on the CPU's memory controller and not the motherboard. Back in Core 2 and original Phenom days when the memory controller was on the motherboard the motherboard made the major difference but once they moved the memory controller to the CPU the motherboard was not the major factor anymore. Now that the north bridge is now on the CPU the motherboard is even less important to ram frequency.

That ram stick does not have heat spreaders so it can not handle much overclocking. Overclocking creates heat and needs to be dissipated.

If you are looking to go up another full step in frequency purchase that frequency. When overclocking a piece there is no guarantee that it will go far. Anything over stock is a bonus, get...

Will that ram hit the next step up, 2400? Most likely not. Will it the step above that, 2666? No it wont.
