CPU oozing out glue

Solution

your image isn't working, however, doesn't sound normal to me, sounds like they maybe de-lidded and glued the lid back on with something that isn't heat resistant, anyway of getting another link to the picture ?

I agree with Wolfshadw, on this one, maybe not so much went wrong, just looks like the used way too much glue to stick the lid back down and did a shoddy job of it, this is what mine looked like 3 years after de-lidding and sticking the lid back down, sold it a couple of months ago on ebay. http://i68.tinypic.com/w9iiqd.jpg

Is that glue wet or dry ?

if you can, send it back, or if its working and they wont refund, at least get some of your money back.

But this is 7700k - it's no more then 2 months old. I bet it does not work, or at least overheats terribly.

I know its a 7700k, but its no different de-lidding it to my old 4770k or any other to be honest, same process.
