Hardwired PC Doesn't Connect To Mixed Network

I have a home network named SissyFire (router is a TrendNet Wireless N Home Router (TEW-632BRP)). One computer is an ASUS UL30A and connects to the network via an Atheros Wireless Adapter. File and Printer sharing enabled and Shares are enabled to share the Hard Drive. The other computer is a custom built PC that is hardwired to the router. It does not have wireless capabilities. File and Printer sharing enabled and Shares are enabled to share the Hard Drive.
Other stuff:
The laptop runs Win 7 Home and the PC runs Win 7 Pro
Each computer is a member of the Workgroup named AZ-Group.
Each computer can be pinged by the other by pinging the IP address. Each can be pinged by pinging the computer name as well. and the computer name.

The issue I'm having is that the wireless laptop connects to SissyFire just fine, but the hardwired PC does not connect to SissyFire. When mapped the PC connects to the internet via a Local Area connection. How can I get the PC to connect to the SissyFire network? Or can I?

When you say it's not getting an IP address, if I run ipconfig at CMD prompt I get an IPv4 address of 192.168.10.101. If I ping that IP address from the laptop results show a response time of 19ms. Is this IP address not valid?

What you're describing sounds normal. Unless you're connected to a domain, it will call all wired connections the local area network.
Because basically since it's wired there is no debate as to what you're connected to.

My primary goal out of this whole thing is to be able to access the laptop from my PC . According to the laptop I am sharing the hard drive with everyone with full control. FYI, when I map the Network from both computers SissyFire does show. So how can I get to the laptop hard drive which I set up to share?

The answer you provided, James Mason, has allowed me to simply open My Computer and have immediate access to the laptops HD. Your previous answer regarding hardwired connections explained why I can't "see" the other computer in Network Sharing. Thank you.
