Ok, so i already have:

  • ■ a nzxt s340 elite red case
    ■ an i5 7600k cpu which I intend to overclock
    ■ an asrock killer sli motherboard
    ■ a 1060 gpu gigabyte oc edition
    ■ 16 GB of ram from teamgroup delta (2 sticks of 8)
I would like to know if a noctua nh-d14 is compatible with my setup (that includes both the case and the ram) and if a 750W psu is overkill for it.
(i'll also ad 1tb hdd and 480 m.2 ssd to it and I intend to use the pc in a dual monitor setup)
I've built this pc to be able to enjoy most of the games that will come to max-medium settings for a few years.
Atm I won't overclock the cpu cause there is no need but in the future I want the cooler to be able to keep it cool when I'll do it.

Like the Hyper 212 in that case, it will barely, barely fit. http://www.tomshardware.com/answers/id-2546594/noctua-d14-compatible-nzxt-s340.html

Yes, a 750w is overkill. Step down to a 500 or 600w if you like.

"Caution:
The NH-D14 is a big cooler that extends over the first RAM slots on most mainboards. The cooler offers sufficient clearance for all standard size memory modules, but you won’t be able to use memory modules higher than 44mm. Corsair Dominator DDR3 modules can be used if the top heatspreader is removed as shown here." -Noctua Disclaimer

Link us the exact RAM modules you have and we can determine if they're too tall for the first ram slot. Here is their compatibility listing for Ram manufacturers: http://noctua.at/en/nh-d14/rcomp

http://www.teamgroupinc.com/en/product/MEMORYMODULES/OVERCLOCKING/DDR4/Delta%20DDR4 this is the ram, as I said, teamgroup delta.

The 5/5 TeamGroup modules listed on their site are all supported/compatible, and the Delta, while not listed, looks like the others if not shorter (the heat sink). I'm fairly certain the fan should not leave your first slot inaccessible for that RAM module.

DDR4 TeamGroup Dark Series (grey, blue, red, black, white)
DDR4 TeamGroup Dark Series
DDR4 TeamGroup Elite Plus Series
DDR4 TeamGroup Vulcan Series (blue, gold, orange, red, white)
DDR4 TeamGroup Vulcan Series

These were all listed as compatible. Delta was not listed but looks the same in appearance.
