for the last 3 years ive had an Asus rog laptop and it has worked quite well. Just 2 weeks ago i built a New computer with High end components and it cost me around 2100 dollar.
The components are:
Asus GeForce GTX 1080 ROG Strix
Intel i5-7600k 3.80GHz
16GB DDR4 2400MHz
Corsair Hydro Series h105
Corsair CX750M
Asus ROG Strix Z270E gaming motherboard
Samsung 850 EVO 500GB SSD
WD Desktop blue 3TB HDD
Still i have to play on low or medium quality and still i get lag. Either Its constant stutter or random lag spikes, It depends on the game. The only part of my setup which isnt up to date and high end is my monitor.
It doesnt run games better than the laptop did..
