2x4gb memory will perform better, dual channel.

Also while I love Seasonic that model is ancient. I gave you a better one costs a bit more, but its new, quieter and a better design and more efficient.

Pretty good, would at least suggest you get some name brand ram like crucial or gskill for a little more.
Poor memory can cause a very very unstable system, and can be difficult to track as the issue will be very random.
