I have a HP Pavilion laptop that I have given up on, however the SSD inside it is intact and have some data I would like to retrieve (to my other PC). I have never done anything like that before, and was wondering if anyone would know a good way to do this. Can I hook it up on my PC, or do I need to format it? Should I look for a laptop to borrow, connect the SSD to it and save the data to a flash-drive? Or is there any other cheap ways of getting the data from the SSD?
