I recently upgraded from fx4300 to a non k intel (i5 7500) on Gigabyte GA B250M D2V with 16GB ddr4 2400. RX 480 4GB.

I am very happy with the upgrade. On fx I was able to get about 20fps at 1440p in Witcher 3. But now I can get 40-45 fps with same settings ultra-high mixed and hairworks on.

So my question (to anyone who has a non k + b250) is there anything I can further tweak in bios to oc my cpu or just enhance a bit further?

How about enabling intel speed step? Does it effect gaming?

I see most OC options are disabled in bios but they are there. Does that mean if I had a K series cpu it would have been able to OC somehow even on B250 boards?

for oc you should have invested in a z series mobo and a k series cpu.
your current system with oc would probably overheat and kill either mobo or cpu. If you are lucky you can get 0.1 ghz improvement with current setup.
