WIFI poor signal OR Broadcasting range

Requirement : Need WIFI from 1st floor Bedroom to second floor Bedroom.
WIFI Router is in First Floor Bedroom and cannot broadcast till second floor through concrete walls and slabs.(Country Asia)

Pl see image , I need the WIFI coverage on FLOOR 2 (Medium is concrete walls)
Also suggest where I should hook this Extender/Repeater (In FLOOR 1 or FLOOR 2)

Which option from below will be better for general streaming of youtube , netflix (NO GAMING) ? (Budget 50$ Max)

b.Buy Asus RT-N12/D1 Wireless-N300 Router / Access Point / Range Extender
c.Upgrade the Base WIFI router to "ASUS RT-N66U Dual-Band Wireless-N900 Gigabit Router
d.Suggest if any better way ?

its hard to say if your signal will get through a concrete wall/floor. you can try a range extender to put int another part of the house but if that doesn't work you may have to look into power line adapters to wire your devices

Neither. Buy THIS, the TP-Link Powerline WiFi kit (TL-WPA8630 KIT) if you cannot run a cable and setup an access point up there. Slightly over your budget, for $50 you will have to use an Ethernet cable and cheap router set up as an AP.

They work great and obviate the need for using a pair of AV1200 powerline adapters to connect an access point since it is built in to the second of the two units in the kit.

There is no way to run cables across floor 1 and floor 2 , both are separate flats.

Say on FLOOR 1 if the router is broadcasting wifi signal say 4 points strength to the corner of the floor 1 then cant I connect a range extender at that corner and carry that 4 points to FLOOR2 BEDROOM ?

Or since I could see already there is 2 points signal in FLOOR 2 living room from the base router can I connect range-extender there and carry those 2 points signal strength till the floor 2 bedroom ?
