Games crashing for unknown reason

So recently my games like Rainbow Six Siege and CSGO have started to crash randomly and I have no idea why. I have been playing them and then they freeze and crash to desktop. I have had all my PC components for well over a year each (some a lot longer) so I'm sure it's not that the parts aren't good enough but it may be that one of them is failing but I really don't know as I'm not great with this kind of stuff. All I know is I didn't have any problems about a week or 2 ago and now I do haha.

I've run a stress test on my GPU with Furmark but that seems to be all OK and I've tested my hard drive with CrystalDiskInfo and it says its good.
Is there something else that could be causing this?

Any help is really appreciated thanks.

Main System Specs if they are useful:

Windows 10 Home

Intel Core i7-3770 3.40Ghz

16GB RAM

Nvidia GTX 780

3TB Hitachi HDD

Corsair CX750 PSU

Motherboard: ASROCK Z75 PRO3

Hardware wise you should have no issue running these games especially CS:GO at medium to high settings.

Issues like this have a few probable causes

1: malware is throwing up background processes that force them to CTD. To fix try running malwarebytes
2: CPU is overheating, seems unlikely since it worked before
3. Windows update caused a new memory leak due to an old driver not working correctly. Try updating every driver on your system. Not just your graphics drivers mind you i mean everything including motherboard drivers.
4: Ram failure, ram does have a finite life and while that lifespan is long it can die. Check to make sure your ram is fully recognized as 16gb and that your paged and non-paged memory pools are not more than 500mb if they are refer to issue 3.

Did a full scan with my antivirus and malwarebytes which found nothing.
CPU is definitely not overheating.
Tried updating all my drivers and they were all up to date.
Did a test on my RAM and it says all good and all 16gb is recognised.

I went out and bought an SSD (as I needed to get one anyway) and transferred one of the games to that but it didn't change anything, it still crashed after about 15-20 mins.

Could it possibly be something to do with my antivirus as I have recently installed Avira antivirus. I had to turn it off so that Malwarebytes could actually run which was a bit weird. It also constantly bugs me about improving my startup speed like every 5 mins.

Also another noteable thing is that Battlefield 1 runs fine without ever crashing. Could it be a problem with Steam as all my other games are on Steam.

Again any help is really appreciated. Really have no idea of why this would be happening.
